Easy Easter Entertaining
Easter is only a couple of weeks away so I thought it was the perfect time to share some easy entertaining ideas for celebrations with family and friends.
This year we will be at Daydream Island for the Easter long weekend, so I decided to host an early Easter party for our family. Luckily, the Easter Bunny visited our house early with lots of delicious treats to share with our family and friends.
It wouldn't be an Easter celebration without a bunny cake and this cutie pie mud cake from Ferguson Plarre is absolutely perfect for Easter entertaining. Ferguson Plarre has an adorable range of cakes & treats for Easter, including two bunny cakes, drip cakes, smash cakes, bunny cupcakes, Hot Cross buns, Easter Chick meringues and Biscuits. Orders can be placed online or in-store. www.fergusonplarre.com.au.
It doesn't get much easier than a dessert board for Easter entertaining!! This one took only a couple of minutes to put together. It features Easter Chick Biscuits, Chocolate Swirl & Bunny Cupcakes (all from Ferguson Plarre) and Milk Hot Cross Bun Chocolates, Milk Chocolate Mini Eggs and 'Indulgent 6 Pack Egg Selection', all from Chocilo Melbourne.
The Chocilo chocolate store is located in North Ivanhoe and is filled with pastel foiled chocolate eggs, bunnies, cocoa the chocolate platypus, Easter Smash Cakes, Eggs for hunting, Sugar Free Stevia eggs and the Chocolatier Australia Easter Collection. Their chocolates are made in Melbourne from premium chocolate and is absolutely DELICIOUS, it truly tastes as good as it looks.
(Chocilo is running kids chocolate workshops in the first week of the school holidays - you can book on their website. They are also having VIP Day in-store and online - on Tuesday 2nd April. They will be offering 15% off store wide, so it is a perfect time to do your Easter shopping.)
Pictured above is a chocolate swirl cupcake from Ferguson Plarre sitting pretty on a Monique Lhuillier Plate from Pottery Barn Kids.
Pottery Barn Kids has an absolutely adorable range of Easter decor, from baskets to buntings, plates to tumblers. www.potterybarnkids.com.au.
Every Easter egg hunt requires an adorable bunny basket and pictured above is the 'Canvas Blue Bunny Easter Basket' from Pottery Barn Kids - this is also available in Pink - which is packed to the brim with delicious chocolates from Chocilo.
I also used the gorgeous 'Happy Easter Glitter Garland' and Bunny Ears from Pottery Barn Kids on the treats table.
Wishing you and your family a sweet and happy Easter!
Love,
Emily xx
